Event Description
Join the St. Clair Shores Cultural Committee for a free bus trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts for a Melodies at the Museum performance with the Alvin Waddles/Marion Hayden Quartet. Alvin is a well known Detroit pianist, singer and composer and he and the Marion Hayden Quartet will be performing original songs, jazz standards and more. After the performance you will be invited to join in the free cookie and coffee reception held in Café DIA.
This trip is free and includes transportation to and from the St. Clair Shores Library to the DIA. Registration is required with the St. Clair Shores Library.
Please check in at the library at 12 noon December 13, 2023.
12:30pm Arrive at the Detroit Institute of Arts
1pm Performance at The Detroit Film Theater
2pm Free Cookie & Coffee Reception
3pm Depart DIA for return to Library.

For the protection of the art, nothing may be carried on the back, or over or atop the shoulders, in the museum.
No water bottles or food or drinks are permitted in the museum
